Startin things off with a little pre-game juggle session!
And Game 1 is underway!
The first game was played on a pitch that was 1 of, if not THE worst we have ever seen. The heavy rainfall for about an hour prior to the game really made the season opener a messy affair. And the officiating was absolutely horrific! Boubacar had 1 of the best tackles I have seen where he assertively tackled a ball away from the opponent...that foul led to MN City's opening goal in the 11th minute.
Eagles responded in the 31st minute as Wiedabach finishes on the breakaway from Amilcar! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL! 1-1
Great celebration from Wiedy & Company as the Eagles notch their 1st goal of the young 2016 PLA season.

Day 2 we head to Woodbury, MN to take on MN United FC Reserves!
Absolutely opposite environment for game 2 of the Eagles PLA Season Opening Weekend.....

MN United scores in the 25th minute, '45 and '62 to make it 3-0. Unlucky outcome. A brief break and then back to training for the CVroatian Eagles as we prepare for another battle against the Bavarians June 4 at Croatian Park @ 5pm.
